Technical terms should not obscure business decisions. These are short explanations of the concepts that shape an APPSS application.

Business logic

The agreed facts and rules that determine what should happen in a business situation. People remain accountable for the policy; software implements it.

Agent-operable

An authorised agent can inspect context and propose or perform specific tasks through clear interfaces. This does not mean unlimited autonomy.

DataInbox AI and DataStreams

DataInbox AI handles business messages and coordination. DataStreams supports connections and data processing. Which parts a project needs is decided case by case.

MCP and CLI

MCP is a protocol for exposing controlled tools and context to AI systems. A CLI is a text-based interface for carrying out defined operations. Neither replaces agreed business rules or security checks.
